[Verse 1]
I used to count stars, believin That I could count on them
Long lonely walks at night, looking for answers then
Never had much green in my pocket/
Never saw more than 9 bucks an hour for my profit/
Radios wouldn't play me and girls wouldn't date me/
Despite that I think that things have changed lately/
But with my controller in hand, I lived countless lives/
my skills danced across challenges countless times/
Some say I lie, some say I'm childish I/
say no blades, instead let's clash with minds/
Battle of the century, we can call this/
'Cuz wars in our memory, caused many loses/
In the last hundred years, gosh many lost it/
Some for ego, some maybe for profit/
But, if you're listenin' to this little gem/
You'll be glad to know that I flow unlike the rest of them/
[Hook]
Somedays, the skies are grey
Somedays, the skies are blue
[Verse 2]
I could tell a tale about a time in my life/
When every single thing didn't seem like it was right/
Workin paycheck to paycheck, I had 2 jobs/
And every little thing was making me feel like I was lost
So, I thought, maybe maybe I could find me some love/
a happy ending like fairy tale, that's wat's up/
But, I just got over a lady turning me down/
Full of energy, I thought she'd flip over my frown/
So I moved on, and guess what? Things got worse/
My car broke down, I got sick and in trouble at work/
Looking at the clouds askin' what did I do to deserve/
All of this, maybe I left someone broken and hurt/
Then outta of the blue, in a way I didn't expect/
I met this girl, made my world stop just for a sec/
Seein' her pretty smile, thinkin' will this last for life/
Fast forward, now that girl is my beautiful wife/
[Hook]
Somedays, the skies are grey
Somedays, the skies are blue
[Verse 3]
Switch the topic, I rock it like moshpits/
My words sporadically hit hard as I drop it/
Round 2, I'm a little indifferent/
They say that's the opposite of love, I say it isn't/
The opposite of love is selfishness/
Mixed with a bit of pride and self interest/
So, tell me tell me, what you do you think this is/
Let's call it a gift, the last benevolence/
That's my name, I hope that you're wearin' it/
Out 'Cuz people we're in need of it, apparent, yes/
Nothing too soft, nothing too hard/
something in between would be nice but so far/
we haven't really made it, but I'm okay with it/
Perfection will only come when the new system's bringin' it/
When that day comes, hopefully we make it/
And never again will we ever have to say this/
Wholesome Hip-Hop for kids that even adults and longtime fans of real Hip Hop music can enjoy without the cheese. Probably one of the greatest Hip Hop albums ever made. Last BeNeVoLeNcE
Mega Ran is one of the best Hip Hop artists of all time and quite possibly the best Hip Hop artist in our generation. He's not afraid to honestly express who he is and what he's into within his music. Last BeNeVoLeNcE

Very nice concept Album! A nice collaboration between BeNeVoLeNcE, Mega Ran, K-Murdock and Kharisma! Hip Hop and JRPG's (especially those made in the '90s) collide in one neat little package. The game is well crafted too, try it out if you get the chance!

This album came out of nowhere, and is as epic as the game. There's a grit and true understanding of how the game portrays itself in this music. kai_myst
